<p>The previous Biennale was set up in Kobe&#8217;s Meriken Park and all of the installations had their own shipping container. This year&#8217;s was slightly different, maybe because a lot of shipping containers are being used for earthquake/tsunami recovery up north. There are four different locations. We visited two of them. One was in a large department store with many long, narrow pods built to hold the installations, and the other was running underneath the train tracks near Motomachi station. </p>
